HAGrid is short for "Hex Axis Gripping Device". In this project we designed and developed a 6 degree of freedom Robotic arm Manipulator with the help of MATLAB programming and Dynamixel servo motors. The robot configuration to achieve 6 DOF is P-R-R-R-R-R i.e. the first joint is Prismatic and the other 5 joints are revolute. HAGriD is also equipped with a gripper or the end-effector whose design is bioinspired from human hand fingers. This Gripper can be utilized for grasping and placing objects.
